Bronx NY — One man is dead and a second remains in critical condition after a double shooting in the Mount Hope section. Police were called to East 175 Street and Weeks Avenue, at just after 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 11. Officials say Jose Morales, 41, was shot in the head and torso and died at the scene. A second victim, a 25 year-old man was shot in the jaw, right eye and back and remains in critical condition at St. Barnabas Hospital. Police were looking for a male Hispanic in his 30’s, wearing a black jacket.
